Add Predefined Comments

Predefined comments are useful for comments that are used often. Users can add a predefined comment to a service request, work order, or case without having to type it every time.

You can add predefined comments to PLL cases using Task Manager, Corrections, the Main panel, and directly to a task in the workflow. The user interface may be different, but the steps are the same.

PREREQUISITES:

  • Predefined comments for PLL cases are set up in PLL Admin under Additional Template ItemsPredefined Comments.
  1. Create or open a case.
  1. Click Add Comment.

  1. Click Select Predefined or enter a carat (^) in the comment field.

  1. Select the desired predefined comment. The comment will be inserted where the cursor is. If there are many predefined comments, typing after the caret (^) will filter the results.
  2. Click Save Comment.
