Task Manager Fields

  • Login ID: This field automatically displays the login ID of the current user. This field can be changed by clicking the Lookup icon and choosing another user.
  • From: This is the beginning target date for the task. This field corresponds with the Task panel in the workflow. The current date automatically loads in this field, but it can be changed by using the calendar icon.
  • To: This is the end date for the task. This field corresponds with the Task panel in the workflow. The current date automatically loads in this field, but it can be changed by using the calendar icon.
  • Task Type: Select the desired task type to include in the search: All, Inspection, Review, or Hearing.

  • Available: Select one of the following options:
  • Yes: This includes only tasks that are available to be worked on (for example, in an open milestone, not closed due to a flag, etc.).
  • No: This includes only tasks that are not available.
  • All: This shows all of the tasks whether they are available or not.
  • Complete: Select one of the following options:
  • Yes: This only includes tasks that are complete.
  • No: This only includes tasks that are not complete.
  • All: This includes all of the tasks regardless if they are complete or not.
  • Search: Click to start the search.
  • Reset: Click to reset the form.
  • Compact View: Click to view a condensed version of the Task Manager panel.

Task Manager Search Results Fields

From here, you can view details for the task, such as the case type/number, case sub type, and task name.

  • Result Code: Use the drop-down list to identify the result of the task. The result codes available in the drop-down list vary, depending on the case type.
  • Assigned To: This automatically populates with the employee assigned to the task. To change the employee, remove the ID and use the Lookup icon to open a selection window. Select the desired Login ID and click Submit.
  • Target End Date: Use the calendar icon or double-click in the field to enter the target end date.
  • Correction: Click to open the Corrections window in a new tab. For more information on correction tasks, see Use Corrections in Task Manager.
  • Comments: Add any additional comments here. For more information on adding comments to task, see Use Comments in Task Manager.
  • Time Accounting: Click to open the time accounting fields. These allow you to track the time spent on certain tasks. For more information on time accounting information, see Use Time Accounting in Task Manager.
  • Open Case: Click to open the Summary page of the case in a new window to view and edit items for that case.
  • Details: Click to mark the task as complete as well as print reports selected from the drop-down list. For more information on completing a task, see Complete a Task.
  • Task Complete By: This field automatically displays the login ID of the current user. This field can be changed by clicking the Lookup icon and choosing another user. The field must be cleared before a new ID may be selected.
  • Task Complete Date: This field automatically displays the current date. Use the calendar icon or double-click in the field to enter the date the task was completed.
  • Print Crystal Report: Select reports from the drop-down list and click the print icon to print the task information.

NOTE: The administrator must define Crystal Reports in the WebAppSetting.config file stored under .../inetput/wwwroot/<site_alias>/WebSite, as well as add the report to System Reports within PLL Admin and the Reports Manager tab on the main Cityworks toolbar. The name referenced in all three places must be exactly the same.
