Open a Work Order

There are eight ways to open a work order.

ClosedFrom a Work Order Search
  1. Search for the desired work order. See Search for a Work Order for more information.
  2. Click the WorkOrderId. You can also select the check box next to the WorkOrderId and click Open Selected (multiple work orders can be opened at a time using this option).

ClosedFrom a Service Request
  1. Open a service request with a work order associated to it.
  2. Click the Id link in the Related Work Activities panel.

ClosedFrom a Custom Inspection
  1. Open a custom inspection.
  2. Click the Details tab.
  3. Click Open WOs.

ClosedFrom a Standard Inspection
  1. Open the inspection.
  2. Click the Work Order Id.

ClosedFrom a GIS Search
  1. Search for the desired asset. See Search the GIS for more information.
  2. Click the asset ID to open the Asset Viewer.
  3. Click the Work History tab.
  4. Click the Id link.

ClosedFrom the Asset Viewer
  1. Open the Asset Viewer.
  2. Click the Work History tab.
  3. Click the Id link.

ClosedFrom Equipment Change Out
  1. Select an asset on the map.
  2. Open Equipment Change Out.
  3. Click the Work History tab.
  4. Click the Id link.

ClosedFrom an Asset Reading

PREREQUISITES:

  • The work order must have a reading associated to it.
  1. Open a work order.
  2. Click Readings from the functions drop-down list.

  1. Select an asset.

  1. Click the Work Order Id in the Readings panel.
